Greece on its own feet with billions buffer and debt relief

Greece is definitely going out of the European emergency program on 20 August.

The Eurogroup (finance ministers of the euro countries) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) believe that after eight years the country can get back on its own feet financially, but in the deep it is not thrown out, they decided on Thursday night in Luxembourg.

The country will also stay under increased surveillance for a number of years to ensure that it does not stray from the straight path or roll back measures.
