Governor Florida wants to amend the law

The Governor of Florida Rick Scott proposed on Friday to tighten the rules for buying firearms and to take measures to improve safety in schools.

The Republican Scott is going to work with state MPs on a bill to raise the minimum age at which someone can purchase a gun or gun to 21 years. An exception is made for younger soldiers and police officers. Currently, eighteen-year-olds in Florida can already buy an attack weapon such as the AR-15, which the school gunner used.
