Google reduces Android downloads

Google found a way to make Android app updates considerably smaller.

The algorithm, called bsdiff, updates reduces the half more than the previous algorithm. An update of Chrome web browser was a result from 22.8 MB to 12.9 MB. Depending on the content of the app updates varies the space saving. However, most applications can count on at least 5 percent smaller files.
