Google launches new personal profile page

Internet giant Google is slowly but surely dismantling its former Facebook rival Google+.

The 'About Me' page is the central hub where Google apps, such as Photos and Drive, extract data from. If information is adjusted on this page, pick up all the Google apps it automatically.

In to see the pages include basic information such as gender, date of birth and occupation, but also the school history and work history are automatically displayed here. By category also indicate whether this information is private and may be shared.

The company is still working on a new way for users to see what information about them to find exactly falls back through the Google search engine.
