Good WiFi in nursing homes should yield more visitors

Care homes have to pay more attention to the quality of their WiFi networks, according to the English politician Caroline Dinenage.

Dinenage said at a conference that too few nursing homes have a good internet connection. Thanks to the internet connection, contact with friends and family could be better maintained and younger visitors should be encouraged to come by, writes The Telegraph.

In addition to encouraging visitors, a good internet connection could also offer more access to online tools such as memory games.

Online photo albums, playlists with music and videos can be better viewed, which can strengthen the contact with their loved ones for the residents.
