Glastonbury Festival sharpened security

Visitors to the Glastonbury Festival in the UK must take additional security measures this year.

According to the BBC, there are extensive controls on the luggage and bags of visitors. 'For safety reasons, all visitors will be subjected to additional checks on their car and luggage,' the festival organization writes on her website.

Visitors who arrive early will have to wait in their car until the official opening of the event. They also need to attach name cards with their phone number to their luggage and do not allow their bags to be sealed in plastic.

The program of the music festival hosts performances of The Foo Fighters, Radiohead and Ed Sheeran.
