Giant Panda Baby born in Malaysia

A small giant panda was born in a zoo in Malaysia.

The pandas Liang Liang and Xing Xing arrived in Malaysia in 2014 as part of the Chinese pandaplan to lend these animals to befriended countries. Those countries can then help with the breeding, care and protection of the animal species.

It is not yet known whether the baby is a boy or a girl, because mother Liang Liang refuses to let the little giant panda pick her arms. 'We have to feed the mother by hand because she uses both legs to hold the baby firmly,' says the director of the park.
