Gear EgyptAir broke in the air

The unit of EgyptAir which collapsed in May in the Mediterranean Sea, broke up in the air shortly after a fire broke out in or near the cockpit.

That's what those officers involved in the investigation, The New York Times reported Saturday. It is not clear whether the fire was the result of a technical fault or is ignited.
