Gay-vultures nest egg out

Once an egg of a griffon vulture Zoo in Germany's Nordhorn was abandoned by the mother, two males taken it upon himself to hatch the egg.

'The female Lisa made no effort to build a nest,' said a spokesman for the zoo to German media. The male couple Isis and Nordhorn did well, which the caretakers decided to give the egg to the male. 'They went there promptly sit on top. '

The zoo has long sought to propagate the vultures, but Isis and Nordhorn were more interested in each other than in female Lisa. It is therefore whether the egg which she is hatching fertilized anyway. Employees of the zoo are also very curious about how the two males handle the coming days with the egg.
