Front National changed name

On the final day at the party congress of the French right-wing populists in Lille, Marine Le Pen proposed to baptize the Front National and to make a new start as 'Rassemblement National'.

Le Pen said, according to Le Monde, that the name change is necessary to successfully complete the renovation of the party. Members of the FN may vote in writing on the proposal. The result will be known in six weeks at the earliest.
