French prime minister talks with yellow vests

French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe has to talk to representatives of the 'yellow vests' demonstrators and the parliamentary leaders from parliament.

Macron and a few ministers held crisis talks on Sunday, after protests against the high cost of fuel and livelihood on Saturday had degenerated into chaos and violence. French media speculated in advance about the possibility that Macron would proclaim the state of emergency, but that is not the case. Minister of Home Affairs Christophe Castaner must come up with measures to maintain order in the future.
