Frans Timmermans receives Benelux Award

EU Commissioner Frans Timmermans gets the Benelux,, Award for his unwavering commitment to the Benelux and the European idea.

This Benelux parliament Monday announced. The prize will be presented Friday at Timmermans at the Brussels Town Hall.

The Benelux parliament recommends the governments of the three Benelux countries in the field of cross-border cooperation and is based in Brussels. It has 49 members of which 21 Dutch, 21 Belgians and Luxembourgers 7.
