Former president Piñera wins Chile elections

Billionaire and former president Sebastian Piñera is once again the new Head of State of Chile.

The 68-year-old Piñera will join as president in March. He held the position from 2010 to 2014. The Chilean constitution states that after a term of four years, a president can not immediately apply again. Piñera succeeds the left-wing president Michelle Bachelet, who replaced him in 2014.
