Former President Peres deceased

Former Israeli president and prime minister, Shimon Peres, was Wednesday in Tel Aviv deceased at the age of 93.

He was an architect of the attack on Egypt in 1956, known as the Suez war, the Israeli nuclear program, the peace with Egypt (1979) and the peace negotiations with the Palestinians leading to the Oslo Accords in 1993. The following year, together Peres was previously with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat (1929-2004), the Nobel Peace Prize.

Peres was born in the then Polish Wiszniew and moved as a child of eleven to Palestine. In 1948 he moved to the side of the Israeli \'Father of the Nation\' David Ben-Gurion (1886-1973) in politics. He was a member of the Labour Party and in 1959 became a member of parliament.
