Former president Lula is free for funeral
The Brazilian former president Lula da Silva may temporarily leave the prison to attend the funeral of his grandson.
Lula is serving a prison sentence of twelve years for corruption. The 73-year-old politician, who ruled the country from 2003 to 2010, stays in a prison in the city of Curitiba in the south of the country. How long he can stay out of the cell has not been announced.
