Forest fires along Adriatic coast of Croatia

The fire brigade in Croatia has the hands full of forest fires on the Adriatic coast.

Other fires were near the coastal city of Split and and to the islands of Pag and Vir. Along the kilometer long coast of Croatia there are forest fires every summer, but this time they are particularly hot. The strong northern wind makes the extinguishers difficult. The authorities have issued a warning for the use of open fire.

Forest fires are also raging in neighboring countries of Bosnia and Montenegro.
