Fled murder suspect caught in Iraq

The 20-year-old Ali Bashar suspected of having murdered the 14-year-old Susanna in Wiesbaden has been arrested in Iraq.

Two days ago, the girl's body was found along a railway line, two weeks after she had been reported missing by her mother. The case has kept Germany in its grip for days.

Numerous politicians questioned the course of events in the period between her disappearance and discovery. Especially when it comes to the 20-year-old Bashar. He fled Saturday with his family Germany, a week and a half after the disappearance of Susanna. Under a false name and with temporary papers he returned to his native country of Iraq.
