First container houses refugees Calais

In the French Calais Monday the first container properties in use for migrants who stay there in a refugee camp.


         The French government wants to use 5 million of European support in this way provide better housing to about 1,500 people. Thus, the government claims to improve the situation of the current estimates for 4000 refugees in the camp.
In the 'new jungle' reputable refugee camp housing migrants who try to come illegally from Calais via the Channel Tunnel to Britain. They want to the UK because they have relatives or the chance of a better life count greater than in France.
