Fire at Tihange nuclear power plant

Near the Tihange nuclear power plant, more than ten cars are on fire, according to Belgian media.

The fire would have broken out in a parking lot. The fire is now under control, writes the Flemish RTL Info, which publishes photos of the smoke clouds.

The nuclear power plant is located southwest of Liège, about fifty kilometers from Maastricht. One building would have been vacated on the site. The police are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
