FBI agent who called Trump an idiot is fired

The American FBI investigator has dismissed Peter Strzok, a senior employee who had been dissatisfied with President Donald Trump.

According to lawyer Aitan Goelman, Strzok has been sent out on the initiative of Vice-President David Bowdich of the FBI. Strzok had called Trump in a text message 'an idiot'. As a result of this report, Strzok was no longer able to cooperate in the investigation into possible Russian influence on the American elections in 2016. That investigation was led by Robert Mueller.

According to Goelman, the FBI had not been advised internally to dismiss Strzok, but it had been proposed to suspend the agent for sixty days and give him fewer responsibilities.
