Family monkeys spontaneously poses for photographer

A wide smile and extraordinary grimaces.

Crested macaques, which appear only on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, are not very shy because they often come into contact with people.

A group of monkeys surprised photographer Anup Shah, as he tells Mirror. 'They came so close that I could almost touch. 'Shah had been a few weeks on the island for a project and he soon realized that the monkeys began to recognize him.

The meetings have resulted in funny pictures. The monkeys look curiously at the camera and show their tongue or their teeth. See the entire photo series here.

The Celebes Crested Macaque is not the first in the news by a photo that works laugh. Two years ago, crested macaque Naruto from Indonesia who took a selfie in 2011 in the spotlight as the camera's owner claimed the copyright.
