Facebook: less support in elections in 2020

Facebook will no longer provide immediate support in the future presidential elections, as they did in the Donald Trump campaign in 2016.

Facebook informed Congress that it had offered identical support to both candidates. The Trump campaign had accepted that offer. Not Clinton's campaign.

In the future, the company will still provide technical support and offer to train campaigns and political organizations. But it will no longer be so frequent to visit the Campaign Headquarters of the campaigns and provide as much strategic help as the company did for Trump in the run-up to the 2016 elections.
