Ex-UN tribunal spokeswoman released

French journalist and former spokeswoman for the ICTY in The Hague, Florence Hartmann, will be released early after a controversial detention of five days.

Hartmann was still serving a sentence of one week cell because she was sentenced by the tribunal in 2009 for the disclosure of confidential information by the international court. She did that in a book they wrote about the war in former Yugoslavia. She received 7,000 euro fine. When that was not paid, they had seven days in jail, but France did not her.
