EU tightens sanctions against North Korea

The EU proposes tougher sanctions against North Korea.

The measures following the nuclear test and missile test conducted early this year, the regime in Pyongyang. The sanctions are tightened imposed in March on the basis of a resolution of the UN Security Council because the EU sees the North Korean actions as a serious threat to international security.
