EU leaders give small help to May

At their summit in Brussels, the Heads of Government of the EU countries will give a helping hand to Theresa May on Thursday, if at least they are Prime Minister.

EU President Donald Tusk writes in his letter of invitation to the leaders that they first let May tell her story. In the conclusions, they will emphasize once again that the EU countries really do not want a hard line between Ireland and Northern Ireland, according to a senior EU diplomat. In addition, they will emphasize 'a very intimate relationship' after the British departure.
