Essential smartphone presented

The long-awaited smartphone of Essential was presented on Tuesday.

The edge-to-edge screen has only a small incline for the camera. According to Essential, the device is made of titanium, which makes it more robust than other devices. Competitors like Apple's iPhone and Samsung's Galaxy are often chosen for the softer aluminum. An Essential costs $ 699, converted to 626 euros. It is not known when and where it comes to market. What is well known is that initially only a white and a black version will be available. Later a gray and a green variant follow.

Under the hood, the Essential features a Qualcomm 835 processor with 4GB of memory and 128GB of storage. The front camera has 8 megapixels, the rear camera 13 megapixels. It is possible to connect a 360 degree camera to the device. There is no traditional aux connector for headphones. Anyone who wants to listen to music can do that wirelessly, using a USB headset or via auxiliary aux-to-usb dongle.
