Escaped train derails in Belgium

An empty train was derailed early Monday in Belgium.

' The train has escaped from the parking lot in Forest '', confirmed a spokesman for SNCB carrier opposite Het Nieuwsblad. ' It was a train where another car fixed hung. A few hundred meters further is the first train derailed. ''

It is still unclear how the train was just pulling away. According to the Walloon railway union CGSP the emergency brake broke down. The union calls it ' totally abnormal. ' The train had three minutes later to sit full of passengers.

At the derailment no one was injured. Also, according to the SNCB virtually no disruption to rail traffic. The carrier is trying again to straighten tilted wagons.
