Erdogans AK party booking victory

Preliminary results of Turkish parliamentary elections on Sunday give Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Justice and Development Party (AK) overlooking a big win.

After 42 percent of the votes counted, the AK would stand at 53.8 percent of the vote. The main opposition party, the Republican People's Party (CHP) still gets a fifth of voters behind him.

The left-wing pro- Kurdish Democratic People's Party (HDP) brings out all appearances, as with the previous parliamentary elections in June, the high electoral threshold (10 percent of the vote). The HDP could count on more than 11 percent, reported TV station TRT.
