Erdogan and Putin forge plan for danger to Europe Idlib

Russia and Turkey have agreed on the establishment of a demilitarized zone in the Syrian province of Idlib.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Monday after consultation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Putin said that all heavy weapons must be removed from the area. Radical rebel groups like the al-Nusrafront must also leave the zone. The intention is that Russian and Turkish soldiers will patrol the area.

The Erdogan-Poetintop followed after a big disagreement between the two. Putin- ally of President Assad- wanted a big offensive in Idlib. Erdogan warned precisely for the (humanitarian) consequences of this for Europe, including large-scale immigration, he wrote in the Wall Street Journal.
