Environmental friend UN incurs 525,000 euros in travel expenses and gets off

The Chief of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), Norwegian Erik Solheim (63), has finally resigned.

Solheim joined UNEP in 2016, and from the 668 days that scrutinized the study, Solheim was traveling 529. He gave up almost 525,000 euros in travel expenses. The Secretary-General of the UN, António Guterres, has accepted his resignation.
