Enterprising Saudi crawl into F1 racing car

The enterprising Aseel al-Hamad celebrated the end of the driving ban for Saudi Arab women in a special way on Sunday.

Al-Hamad, also the first female board member of the Saudi motor sport federation, had access to the Lotus-Renault in which the Finnish driver Kimi Räikkönen won the Abu Dhabi GP in 2012.

'Being able to do this on the day that women are allowed to drive in the streets of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia shows what can be achieved with passion and the courage to dream', the interior designer responded, who already bought a Ferrari earlier this year for daily use as soon as that was allowed.
