Eleven life terms for murder of Indian Muslims

Eleven suspects were Hindu in India sentenced to a life sentence for the massacre in Ahmedabad in Gujarat State in 2002.

Twelve others were sentenced to imprisonment for seven years for killing 69 Muslims. They pulled a Muslim district and set 35 houses on fire. A man got ten years.

The reprisals were two months. A total of 1000 people, 2500 people were injured. houses were completed at the massacre and fired. Most of the victims were Muslim. Among the victims were many women and children.

The trial is extremely difficult. The former minister is accused of negligence in stopping the violence, but rejected all allegations.
