Election result Sweden will take some time

The final result of the Swedish parliamentary elections may only be announced on Wednesday.

The problem is that it is not yet known which party alliance will get the most seats. The 'red-green block' has a minimal advantage over the cooperation of the center-right liberals and conservatives. Both blocks refuse to cooperate with the SD so that it is not yet known who may form the new probable minority government.

The difference between the two party blocks is so small that the results of the votes cast by letter are looked at with great excitement. That is probably between 50,000 and 60,000 and counting can take until Wednesday, the broadcaster SVT reported.

The SD has only been in the Riksdag (parliament) since 2010 and has since won the message that Sweden should not include migrants from far-away countries. The other parties are horrified by Akesson. They formed so far in a red-green or a center-right block of governments.

The Social Democrats, who have dominated Swedish politics for a hundred years, got a historic low on Sunday with more than 28 percent of the votes. A meager consolation is that they did even worse in polls last week. According to party leader Anders Ygeman, the Social Democrats now want to 'look beyond the block boundaries' for a new government. That means that they want to strike a party from the liberal and conservative alliance.
