Earth shift blocks prettiest highway America

Thanks to its breathtaking views, it is a regular part of many traveling through the west of the United States, a ride on Highway 1 between San Francisco and Los Angeles.

A ten-meter thick layer of stones and mud is on the road at Mud Creek, about 13 kilometers from San Luis Obispo. In total, about one million tons of debris destroyed the ocean.

The road has been closed in both directions for the time being, so who wants to cruise this summer along the coast will have to invent an alternative. The work may take months.
