Dusseldorf North African gang capital

Police in Düsseldorf states that gangs with a North African background using the city as a center for criminal activities in the region and beyond.


         The newspaper Rheinische Post reported Thursday that police in the framework of this project around 2200 suspects have been watching, especially just east of the main station in a district that is called by the police Maghreb district.
The suspects usually come from Morocco and commit to a greater or lesser extent in group crimes. Many are at different places in Germany registered as an asylum seeker.
