Drugs baron gets 22 years in prison in France

A British drug lord was sentenced to 22 years in prison in France.

The cargo of cocaine was seized in 2013 at Charles de Gaulle airport near Paris. The authorities arrested the Briton two years later in his villa in Spain. There, according to the authorities, he led 'an extremely luxurious life' in the province of Málaga. Dawes and his henchmen also have to pay a fine of 30 million euros from the court.
