Drones smuggling to British prisons

A British gang has used drones to bring all kinds of prohibited items to prisons.

The eleven gang members have been convicted by the court in Birmingham. They received cell sentences of up to seven years. The drones brought the prohibited cargo to air places, among other things. In other cases the drone went flying in front of a cell window. The prisoner inside could open the window and roll the order with a broomstick with a hook, through the bars.

The drugs that were intercepted were worth several tons. But not all loads were found. The British judiciary estimates that the gang has smuggled about a million of drugs.
