Dozens killed by bombings Damascus

At least forty people have been killed occurred in two suicide bombings in the Syrian capital Damascus.

The attacks were aimed at buses transporting pilgrims, reported the Lebanese TV station al-Deen Maya. Dozens of people were injured. It is rare for suicide bombers with explosives to penetrate Damascus. The Syrian capital is heavily guarded by the army.

Responsibility for the attacks on Saturday has not yet been claimed.
