Dozens killed by attacks on Aleppo

Least 31 people were killed by heavy air strikes on the Syrian city of Aleppo.

Activists in Aleppo scurried of bombings that were heavier than usual. They drew the conclusion that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his allies may be a new offensive against the city is preparing.

Aleppo in northern Syria has been the scene of heavy fighting between insurgents and government forces. In the part of town that is still held by the rebels, live an estimated 250 000 people.
