Directions IS with hostage host France

Researchers have found indications that the man who murdered four people on Friday in the south of France sympathized with Islamic State.

It would be a rather muddled text with references to the militant terror movement.

The 25-year-old Redouane Lakdim first opened fire on a group of police officers in the historic town of Carcassonne, which wounded an officer. Then he shot a car driver before taking the attendees in a supermarket in nearby Trèbes hostage. There he killed two people while shouting 'Allahu akbar'.
