Desperate SMS saves boy

A seven-year-old Afghan boy and fourteen others have been rescued from the back of a truck after the boy had said in a desperate text message to volunteers that he was afraid to choke.

English Liz Clegg worked earlier this year as a volunteer with refugees in Calais, where they kids simple mobile phones and had given her number for emergencies. When she was Friday at a conference in New York, she got the seven-year-old Ahmed's message. Who wrote phonetically spelled:,, Help. The driver would not stop. There is no oxygen. I'm in a container. I'm not kidding, I swear. ''
