Democrat demands victory Pennsylvania

The Democrat Conor Lamb has claimed victory in midterm elections for a seat in the House of Representatives in Washington, but this triumph is not entirely certain.

After counting 100 percent of the direct cast votes Lamb had a lead of 579 votes on his rival Rick Saccone. The Republican therefore did not accept any defeat.

The state was normally a prey for the Republicans. If the Democrats indeed win, that would be a major boost in the run up to the Congressional elections later this year.

The interim elections were necessary after the Republican Tim Murphy resigned last year for a sex affair.
