Debate Clinton Trump attracts 81 million viewers

In the first televised debate between the US presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump on Monday in the US 80.

At the first debate of its kind looked in 1960, 74 million people to Democrat John Kennedy and Republican Richard Nixon. That was surpassed only twenty years later by about 80.6 million people watched the Democrat Jimmy Carter and Republican Ronald Reagan.

The husband of Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, resigned as Democratic presidential candidate in 1992, nearly 70 million viewers in the debate with Republican George Bush senior.
