Deaths by car bomb in Syria coastal city

In the Syrian coastal town of Jableh Thursday detonated a car bomb.

The government channel Al-Ikhbaria reported nine dead and fifteen wounded. At the station were shown images of heavily damaged cars and buildings. It is still unclear who is behind the attack.

In May Jableh was the scene of one of the heaviest attacks in Syria. There were then more than a hundred deaths. The terrorist group Islamic State claimed responsibility.

Jableh is on the Mediterranean Sea, just south of the airbase Hmeimim where Russian warplanes stationed.
