Death train accident South Africa to nineteen

In the heavy train accident in South Africa, another four bodies were recovered.

The accident happened Thursday morning near Kroonstad in the Free State province. A passenger train collided with two vehicles and then caught fire. According to the rail safety service, a truck was dragged along about 139 meters. As a result, six wagons derailed.

Of all the injured, only a boy of fourteen years is in the hospital. The research on location has now been completed. The wagons are towed away, after which the repair work can begin.

On Monday, a multidisciplinary team meets to determine the total number of deaths. Then more will become known about the circumstances of the accident.
