Death toll rises to thirty fire Guatemala

The fire Wednesday at a shelter for children appears to thirty people in Guatemala living have cost.

The fire started because some residents of the home apparently mattresses were set on fire in the hostel Virgen de Asuncion in San Jose Pinula, about 25 kilometers to southeast of Guatemala City. Police are investigating whether the fire was set by a group of children who had tried Tuesday to escape from the home that was put aside by the leadership.

There would have been more than five hundred children in the home at the time of the fire. The building is calculated at four hundred people.
