Deadly bus drama on the beach of Peru is on the rise

The death toll of the bus accident in Peru has risen to 36.

According to the authorities, the bus was hit from behind by a truck. The bus driver would have lost control over the wheel. 'From the very first moment I immediately used emergency aid to save victims', tweeted Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski.

At least six people survived the accident and are treated in hospital by their wounds.

Traffic accidents on motorways are not rare in Peru, the roads are often unsafe. The road along the cliff is called 'devilish bend' in the vernacular. The coastal road is known as very dangerous.
