Dead to intervene occupation reserve US

The arrest of a group of occupiers of an office of a wildlife sanctuary in the US state of Oregon on Tuesday (local time) out of hand.

The leader of the protest, Ammon Bundy was arrested. That happened when he was in his car on his way to a meeting where he would act as guest speaker. He was stopped by the police, and this led to a confrontation. Also five other demonstrators were arrested.

Since early January, a group of armed protesters occupied the government building in Oregon. They fight with the government over the ownership of land in the region. Specifically, the anger directed against the conviction of two farmers who burned down their country in 2012 as a preventive measure against fires. On appeal, they received higher prison sentences.
