Dead and wounded in attack on Iraqi cafe

In an attack on a popular cafe in the northern Iraqi city of Balad in the night from Thursday to Friday at least twelve people killed and 25 others injured.

The cafe is located in an area that is heavily guarded. The attackers had to pass three checkpoints include the police before they were to their goal. The shooting follows the bloody attacks Wednesday in the capital Baghdad, where about eighty people were killed by bombs. Islamic State has claimed responsibility for it.
