DDoS extortionists arrested

Two people have been arrested because they have carried out DDoS attacks.

The criminals started in mid 2014. They were first coined by gambling sites, but later also focused on financial institutions and entertainment sites. Who pays ransom, is weak and becomes perhaps later again under fire for more money, warns Europol.
London's cyber police tracked down the perpetrators in Bosnia. Investigators from Australia, Germany, France, Britain, Japan, Austria, Romania, the United States and Switzerland assisted in the investigation, as the international police Interpol and Europol.
